Have you ever thought about the role that weather plays in your ability to succeed at the school that you have chosen to attend? Very few students ever think about this but the fact of the matter is that the weather in the place where you go to school can actually have a big impact on your ability to do well in your classes.
Here are just two examples of how the weather impacts school:
- Inclement weather can prevent you from going to class. Yes, theoretically you could get up and trudge through the rainstorm to the school but more people than not choose to skip class on gross weather days.
- The weather can impact your emotions and psychological state. Seasonal Affective Disorder is a very serious thing. The weather can cause you to end up in a depressive funk that makes you incapable of completing your classes to the best of your ability.
You might want to think about the weather when choosing a school. Cooking school may seem like it’s the same everywhere but your experience at Scottsdale Culinary Institute could differ greatly from that at Minneapolis Culinary Arts because of the weather in these two parts of the nation.
